Walter D. Harris III

Walter D. Harris III was born and raised in Washington, DC. Walter grew up in Washington politics as his father was John F. Kennedys campaign manager. He graduated from Fort Hunt HS in Fairfax County and Virginia Wesleyan College in Virginia Beach. Walter was in the first graduating class of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, graduating first in his class. Apprenticing at The Mayflower Hotel afforded Walter an additional intense culinary education under Master Chef and celebrity Alain Binot.
