Herbert J. Zukerman is a certified public accountant licensed to practice in the states of Virginia and North Carolina. He is a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca , NY. He started his working career as a civil engineer and spent thirteen years in various aspects of real estate development and construction. He has owned and operated several businesses including a multiple outlet restaurant operation, a construction company, a management company and a consulting business.
He studied accounting at Old Dominion University and passed the CPA exam in 1980. He started his own firm in 1983 and now employs 40 individuals including thirteen professional and Para-professionals.
Mr. Zukerman specializes in tax, financial and business planning including such diverse areas as income tax planning, estate planning, business valuations, litigations settlement valuations and personal financial planning.
He has frequently been engaged as an expert witness and has testified in Norfolk and Virginia Beach courts as an expert in both civil and matrimonial litigation.
