Trinity Children Foundation

Finding a need and filling it - one act of kindness at a time.

Board of Directors

Doris W. Eakes President / Founder

I am a North Carolinian, born in Beaufort County a farm girl from Pinetown, NC. I have been blessed to travel around the world several times visiting many countries. My husband Joe and I made our permanent home base Kure Beach, NC, as we both loved the beach, we had one daughter. Our passion was to help make our world a better place to live, starting with abandoned children in India. After his death I formed a CRT to help young people find a better life through education.

The dream of Trinity Children Foundation was to expand the support to India, Africa, also to start a program to help abused children in NC. The vehicle the board chose for NC was an annual charity ride. This ride has touched thousands of NC children's lives by directing $125,000.00, to date, to their care. This success in helping children could not have been accomplished without the support of my many friends. Thank you!
