Help Trinity Children honor Donna Morse and Educate the children!
This fund was established at Cape Fear Community College, Wilmington, NC to benefit children adopted and supported by Trinity Children Foundation that have been helped beyond the trauma of abuse.
In addition two students will be awarded full scholarships for 2010-11 and $2,500 of the funds held to endow the fund. Full proceeds from our 2011 Poker Run and Golf events are designated to help reach Endowment and to award students in the 2011-12year.
Our future goal is to establish endowed funds at Community Colleges in the middle and western part of our State. The fund is open. Your help in achieving this goal is appreciated.

Dear Board, Riders and Friends,
I spoke with Donna Morse's son Gavin yesterday and learned that Donna had lost her battle with cancer on February 12, 2010. Donna has supported our ride from its beginning. She loved the idea of helping children. Meeting so many of you - pumping gas and meeting the children at Southmountain was a highlight of her year.
Gavin has set March 7, 2010 to hold a Memorial for Donna in South Florida where she lived and was in business for many years before moving to Gainesville, FL.
Donna Luber Morse was born in Providence, Rhode Island on June 26, 1947. In her 62 years she lived a vibrant and dynamic life, always on the go. Donna loved art, travel, her dogs and cats that she bred, but most of all she loved her children. She was always there to give her motherly support, no matter what the circumstances and no matter what it took, Donna would go to the ends of the earth to get what her children needed. Donna is survived by three loving children Gavin, Brielle, and Cristin Morse.
I am proposing that Trinity Charity Foundation establish a scholarship fund in honor of this devoted mother, named "Donna Morse Scholarship Fund" at Cape Fear Community College, Wilmington, NC. This fund would be available to educate children from The Boy's & Girl's Homes, Lake Waccamaw, NC and children from Southmountain Children & Family Services, Nebo, NC. The children living at these homes once they reach the age of 18 year are on their own. The Morse scholarship would help these children who meet the grade requirements and wish to continue their education in search of a brighter future.
If you wish to support this effort please mail your check to Trinity Children Foundation marked "Morse Scholarship Fund" address to P O Box 149 - Kure Beach, NC 28449 or in the next few days you may send your tax exempt donation using your credit card by visiting our web site www.trinitychildren.com
